Since October, the Bläserphilharmonie Aachen has been rehearsing its current program under the direction of Lars Corijn, with the motto “Warm & Cold”. In the two semester concerts on 13 and 14 December 2025, the varied program will take audiences from the warm spring to the depths of winter.
The intensive rehearsal work, a large portion of which was carried out during a rehearsal weekend under the direction of Olivier Haas, does not only have the winter concerts as its goal this semester. In March 2026, the Bläserphilharmonie will participate in the international wind orchestra competition “Flicorno d’Oro“, which will be held at Lake Garda in Italy. For this, parts of the program will be revisited and deepened in March before being presented to an expert jury of international conductors and composers.
